Professional Communication Corporation, Nedaa, the Dubai Government security networks provider, has announced its participation for the 7th consecutive year at Intersec 2020, taking place from the 19th to the 21st of January; displaying its secure platform and range of solutions enabled through Nedaa Private Network designed to endorse a smart, safe and secure Dubai.

Nedaa along with its strategic partner Esharah Etisalat Security Solutions company, is showcasing their full gamut of solutions including the Control Rooms Systems using Computer Aided Dispatch system. The CAD system is used to record and dispatch incidents over Nedaa’s 4G network, integrated with other devices like Body Cam. On the other hand, they are demonstrating a video Management system, which is a highly secure solution bringing together various devices, cameras and any system combining video, metadata and audio onto a common open-platform.

Also, they are illustrating a secure messenger application which protects information exchange between users, and allows the sending of messages, videos, pictures and file storage through communication groups for teams with real end- to end encryption. Nedaa’s 4G connected smart ambulance is being showcased at their stand; hosting smart equipment and devices like the 360 degree camera and body cam, and advanced bio vital sensors and stethoscope enabled by Internet of Things which assist doctors in hospitals to monitor the patients’ health closely and accurately.

Nedaa’s strategic partners, Nokia, Esharah and Airbus, are also participating at Nedaa’s pavilion presenting their latest and related products and solutions. Nokia is highlighting their Emergency call button, environment sensing and face recognition applications at the event, demonstrating their incident response mechanisms to the audience and customers. In the emergency call button the event is triggered and the operator with support of the system and workflow validates the incident, looking at the GIS, the environment around to understand the scale of incident by viewing relevant live feeds from the scene.

Environmental sensors detect and store information regarding weather, pollution, pollen and smoke; while face recognition has the capability of identifying blacklisted people. Airbus is exhibiting their smart phones, terminals and applications that allow users to communicate in TETRA groups at the touch of a button.

HE Mansoor Bu Osaiba, Chief Executive Officer, Nedaa stated, “It is estimated that by 2050, more than two-thirds of the world’s population will live in cities. A strong technology foundation will thus be required to provide citizens the best quality of life. Network communications play a key role in improving operational efficiencies in the safety and security industry. We are thrilled to be part of Intersec for yet another year, as it provides an excellent platform for us to showcase our solutions amongst key industry players in the UAE.”

“Our participation in this year’s event highlights solutions focused on improving efficiencies and paving the way for the organisations to address current and future requirements for mobility and solutions that will allow a faster response time to emergencies; building an integrated eco-system for a more connected and smarter city. We look forward to meeting with partners, potential clients, users and operators of public safety networks at Intersec.”
