The world-renowned pancake masters allowed the Cloud Kitchen chefs to inaugurate the start of Expo 2020 with the sweet smell of the beloved breakfast treat. The month continued with customers revealing a love of cheeseburgers, with the classic dish being ordered thousands of times, followed by the famous Double Rocker Meal from Rock House Sliders – who ranked second on the list of most ordered restaurants at Expo 2020. This shows that after traversing the huge site, Expo 2020 goers love a good treat meal!

With great anticipation, talabat reveals that the best performing brand in October is talabat Mart, racking up over thousands of orders, followed by Rock House Sliders, NKD Pizza and Tarator! To conclude the perfect shawarma, cheeseburger or salad meal, customers are raving over the Magnum Double Chocolate Ice Cream from Wall’s Ice Cream Shop, a definite crowd favorite.

However, looking at the darkhorses of the pack – cakes from lotsa and pastel cakes are on the rise, with more and more customers choosing to celebrate their day at Expo 2020.

Expo 2020 is proving to be extremely popular on the weekends, and our kitchen’s busiest times are at 7 pm on a Friday, where many people are choosing to spend their freetime.

The most expensive order you ask? Nathan’s Food was pleasantly surprised with an order of 1,120AED placed by a hungry group of foodies.

When it comes to delivery, the ever-popular tala-bots on site have been instrumental in showcasing not only the future of food delivery, ensuring that people who order through talabat get a next-generation experience. Joined by riders on e-scooters, the heroes of talabat have travelled over 1,845 km in a month – which is almost the distance of the UAE to Jordan!

Using the latest technology, the tala-bots have an in-depth programmed integrated map of the Expo 2020 Dubai site, and are therefore able to navigate around with ease. For example, The UK Pavilion, which is right by Al Forsan Park, is the most popular spot for the tala-bots to deliver to.
