Rajeev Karwal, founder of Indian robotics firm Milagrow succumbed to Covid-19 on May 12, 2021. Karwal was one of the most successful professionals of the Indian consumer electronics industry.
Karwal founded Milagrow in 2007 as a management cosultancy but by 2012, the company started making robots for industrial and residential use. Karwal started his career with Onida Electronics in the eighties. He was also instrumental in bringing LG to India. Karwal also worked with Philips, Electrolux, and Reliance Digital.
In March 2021, Milagrow entered the Middle East market by signing a distribution agreement with Blue Ocean Global to promote and distribute its innovative floor, window, pool, and lawn robots across the region.
Last year, Milagrow’s humanoid robots were deployed by All India Institute Of Medical Science to help doctors interact and monitor Covid-19 patients.
