Zain Kuwait’s Hamad Almarzouq talks about 5G solutions and NXN

In 2015, NXN announced a strategic venture with Zain Group, to create smart city technology solutions as a service that includes design and integration for applications including smart living in smart districts, smart safety and security, smart utilities, smart healthcare and smart education. Zain Group focuses on providing connectivity solutions, while NXN provides smart city solutions, implementation and advisory consulting. According to Hamad Najeeb Fahad Almarzouq, Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Enterprise Business Division, Zain Kuwait, 5G roll out will be taking place by the end of the year, while solutions like autonomous cars are still some years away.
