Al Habtoor Motors appoints Joseph Tayar as General Manager, Prestige Cars Division

Dubai-based luxury and performance car retailer, Al Habtoor Motors, has bolstered its Prestige Cars Division with the appointment of Joseph Tayar as General Manager.

Joseph Tayar’s experience spans over 15 years in the automotive industry, with a strong record in successfully managing and building ultra-luxury brands in the region. A result-oriented professional, Joseph joins Al Habtoor Motors after having spent the past five years in Abu Dhabi where he earned multiple global awards and recognition for the dealership he represented.

Tayar has a BS degree in Business Marketing from the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut.

Tayar’s role as General Manager of Al Habtoor Motors’ Prestige Division will see him take responsibility for all business aspects spanning the company’s portfolio of some of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands, including Bentley Motors, Bugatti and McLaren.

Al Habtoor Motors was established in 1983 in Dubai and is the sole authorised retailer for Bentley Motors and McLaren Automotive, as well as official dealer partner of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. in the U.A.E.  For seven consecutive years, Al Habtoor Motors held the title for ‘Best Performing Bentley Retailer in the Region’ and in 2016 the company opened the world’s largest Bentley Motors showroom on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road. This year it will expand Bentley’s footprint in the Emirates even further with the opening of a new state-of-the-art showroom in Abu Dhabi.

Working with luxury brand, Bugatti, for over a decade in the U.A.E, Al Habtoor Motors has been Bugatti’s official dealer partner since 2006 and a Bugatti Service Partner of Excellence since 2013. Bugatti UAE is the brand’s most successful dealer in the world, and boasts the world’s largest showroom which sprawls over 240 square meters.

McLaren Dubai was one of the first McLaren Automotive retailers to open after the new brand launched in 2011. Since then, Al Habtoor Motors has been a key partner for McLaren Automotive in the United Arab Emirates, launching all of its models in the market including the New McLaren GT. The New McLaren Dubai showroom is currently located in Al Habtoor City, Dubai. The McLaren Abu Dhabi showroom is located in Al Khalidya, Abu Dhabi.
