Amr AlMadani speaks at the Future Investment Initiative in Saudi Arabia

Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in front of an image of a critically endangered Arabian Leopard cub, Amr AlMadani, Chief Executive of the Royal Commission for AlUla, speaks about maintaining the balance between people and place to achieve responsible, sustainable and community-inclusive development.

 Earlier this year a beautiful Arabian Leopard cub was born at a breeding centre in Taif, Saudi Arabia. AlMadani said that he looks forward to the day when the species is successfully reintroduced and roams free in AlUla’s Sharaan nature reserve,

 He said, “For this to happen, we must hold true to our values and our vision. We must balance economics and environment.”
