There is increased awareness on this topic. Over the past three years, there have been initiatives launched at Adyen to promote diversity and inclusion. These include a report to measure progress towards becoming representative of the communities we live and work in.

Everyone at Adyen receives unconscious bias and cultural awareness training. Adyen is committed to ensuring equal pay. This is audited annually so we are upholding this standard. Nina set up global digital marketing for Adyen in 2016.


A collaborative, transparent working environment, without power structures. An inclusive culture with diverse talent from across the globe, who bring a breadth of perspectives. And definitely, a work place where equal pay for the same role for all genders is the norm.


I get to work with a diverse group of people from different cultures. It is amazing to learn from each other, get to know each other’s experiences and better understand different cultural perspectives. Winning is more important than individual egos and we work as one team.


Sometimes it can be challenging to achieve impact. I want to reduce time spent in meetings and stakeholder management. But when driving initiatives in a new market, with different perspectives, meetings and decision making do take longer.
