Cigna MEA CEO Jerome Droesch’ role expanded, now includes SEA business

Cigna, a global health services company, has expanded the remit of Jerome Droesch, Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and Africa, MEA, region to include all markets across South East Asia, SEA, as well as the Regional Health Solutions portfolio. The move reinforces Cigna’s commitment to the fast-growing insurance industry in the SEA region. Jerome has successfully led Cigna’s Middle East business and strengthened the company’s standing as an industry leader through achieving region-wide growth and stability.

Recently, he was tasked with driving the growth of Cigna’s Africa markets and with building synergies across the Middle East and Africa region. In doing so, he enabled Cigna to offer more accessible and convenient solutions to its customers. Jerome’s career spans over 29 years in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Cigna, he served as CEO of AXA Partners and was engaged in insurance businesses in the GCC region.
