Executive coach John Mattone delivers websummit on corporate culture

The 5 Cultures of Culture WebSummit by John Mattone.

Only August 3, Global CIO Forum, GCF, hosted an engaging websummit with John Mattone, leading executive coach and co-founder of the Intelligent Leadership Executive Coaching Franchise. The topic of the websummit was The 5 Cultures of Culture.

Why culture matters

The real pathway to achieving sustained success in any organisation lies in creating a culture of centredness. The challenge for global organisations as well as the small to mid-sized entrepreneurial organisations is not about making people happy, but about ensuring people are centred so they are poised and passionate to be the best they can be every day. It is through centredness that passion, happiness, joy and true engagement happens. However, it is culture that drives happiness and engagement and, ultimately, it is culture that drives operating success.

Therefore, culture is the foundation from which successful organisations are built. However, most struggle to create an environment in which employees can be fulfilled, effective in their work, and feel unleashed. So what exactly is it that makes some organisations achieve and sustain breakthrough success, while others struggle with transforming their cultures, whether it involves crafting a new compelling vision and culture or merging cultures? These were some of the key areas the The 5 Cultures of Culture websummit addressed.

The websummit focused on

  • Research and latest thinking: Leadership, talent and culture are leading Indicators that predict sustained operating success
  • Roadmap of cultural transformation to align with company vision, mission and purpose
  • What is culture
  • Transforming culture, the six critical steps

The hour-long 5 Cultures of Culture websummit inspired attendees from across the GCC and the rest of the world. Mattone also answered audience questions at the end of his keynote.
